Gumraah

This one’s for all the thriller drama lovers- Gumraah is all set to hit the theatres on 7th April. This murder mystery stars Mrunal Thakur, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles and is directed by Vardhan Ketkar. Filled with twists and turns this murder mystery will keep you at the edge of your seats as murder investigation of a young man takes an unexpected turn when the cops discover that the prime suspect has a lookalike. 

Jubilee

Set parallel to the evolution of both India and the movies, Jubilee unveils the stories and dreams that gave birth to the Hindi film industry as we know it. Set against the backdrop of the golden age of Indian cinema, Jubilee is a thrilling, yet poetic tale woven around an ensemble of characters and the gambles they’re willing to take, in pursuit of their dreams, passion, ambition and love.

Jubilee which includes cast - Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu, Ram Kapoor, director Vikramaditya Motwane and Aparna Purohit, Head of Originals India. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Jubilee will premiere Part One (Episodes One-Five) on April 7 over Amazon Prime Video, with Part Two (Episodes Six-10) releasing the following week on April 14.

Next on this list is for all our action crime lovers- anIndian Telugu movie which stars popular actors Ravi Teja, Megha Akash and Anu Emmanuel and directed by Sudheer Varma. Ravanasura is ready to hit the theatres on 7th April. This Telugu psychological action thriller film promises  to keep you intrigued until the end and is all set to fill your weekend with that extra action tadka.

The Pope's Exorcist: The Pope's Exorcist is based on the real files of FatherGabriele Amorth, the Chief Exorcist of the Vatican. It follows Amorth as he investigates the terrifying possession of a young boy and ends up finding a centuries-old conspiracy that the Vatican has been trying very hard to hide. This horrorthriller features Russell Crowe, Daniel Zovatto and Alex Essoe and is directed by Julius Avery. The movie is set to hit the theatres on 7th April.

 

Super Mario Bros

Who doesn’t love the nostalgic feel? Especially a character that reminds you of the afternoon you’ve spent at the gaming parlor. Well, this one is for all the Mario fans- Hitting the theatres on 7th April, Super Mario Bros is all set to entertain you. This entertaining film stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, and is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic. Packed with joy, entertainment, drama, and adventure come find out how Mario finds the battle in order to win the Mushroom Kingdom and the universe from the evil Browser and his Koopa Troop.

 

Beef

A road rage incident between two strangers — a failing contractor and an unfulfilled entrepreneur — sparks a feud that brings out their darkest impulses in this offbeat 10-episode series that’s streaming on Netflix from 6th April 2023. BEEF Is created by Lee Sung Jin and stars Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Joseph Lee and Young Mazino.

 

Chupa

While visiting family in Mexico, a lonely boy befriends a mythical creature hiding on his grandfather’s ranch and embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. This 1 hour 40-minute feel-good film is made by Jonas Cuaron and stars Demian Bichir, Christian Slater and Evan Whitten in lead roles. Chupa premieres on Netflix on 7th April 2023, Friday.
