Weekend Releases on OTT and Theatres: Action, Historic, psychological thriller this weekend
This week on Friday i.e 30th September 2022 we have the list of movies and series to be released.

Vikram Vedha : 
 
The second most anticipated movie of the year hits the cinemas on 30th September. Official remake of the 2017 Tamil blockbuster with the same title, this one stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan who play Vikram( a tough cop) and Vedha( a dreaded gangster) and are pitted against each other in a deadly game that underlines 'good vs evil'. Directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, the action thriller stars Radhika Apte, Satyadeep Mishra, Sharib Hashmi and Rohit Saraf in key roles.

Ponniyin Selvan - Part 1: 
Maniratnam is back with his magnum opus spectacle, a period film set against the backdrop of the Cholas dynasty. 
Vandiyathevan, a brave and brilliant young man, sets out to cross the Chola land to deliver a message from his friend Adithya Karikalan.The plot deals with his sister Kanduvai's attempts to bring back Arul to establish peace in the land beset with political unrest.

Karm Yuddh : 
The city of joys turns into a battlefield for the Roys. Directed by Ravi Adhikari of the Sri Adhikari Brothers Productions house, Karm Yuddh is about two brothers of an influential business family at loggerheads, to claim the throne of power and reign on the dynasty. Starring Sathish Kaushik, Ashutosh Rana, Rajesh Khattar and Paoli Dam in pivotal roles, the web series streams on Disney+ Hotstar from 30th September.

Bullet Train : 
A train zooming at a lightning speed, a bunch of cold blooded unsuspecting assassins, a suitcase stacked with cash and a karmic connection underlined with revenge - form the foundation of the David Leitch directed Bullet Train which is the cinematic adaptation of the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka. Brad Pitt stars as the return-from-exile assassin with shades of humor and philosophical exuberance. The film starts streaming on Zee5 platform from 30th September.

Don't Worry Darling : 
In this suburban British psychological thriller directed by Olivia Wilde( Booksmart, Where the Crawldads Sing) , Florence Plugh and Harry Styles star as a couple living in an idealized community of Victory, an experimental company town housing the men working for the top-secret Victory project. 
Beneath the idyllic facade, there lurks an overwhelming teuth and sinister , which Alice played by Florence sets to plough out. 
Don't Worry Darling releases in cinemas on 30th September.

Plan A Plan B : 
The Netflix film starring Riteish Deshmukh and Tamanna Bhatia and directed by Shashanka Ghosh, where the two play a flashy yet earnest matchmaker and a successful but cynical divorce attorney with a love-hate relationship brimming between them. Also featuring Poonam Dhillon and Kusha Kapila, the rom-com steams from 30th September
