    ‘Dhadak 2’ – the spiritual sequel to ‘Dhadak’ (2018) and a remake of the award-winning Tamil film ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ by Shazia Iqbal not only better than ‘Dhadak’ in depicting the caste oppression, it also stays loyal to the original and packs a powerful, scathing punch on the caste divide.

    Dhadak 2 synopsis

    As aspiring lawyer from the dalit community Nilesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi), falls in love with his upper caste Brahmin classmate Vidhi (Triptii Dimri). This irks Vidhi’s family and they start humiliating and harassing Nilesh.
