Karate Kid: Legends Hindi dubbed review

Karate Kid: Legends Hindi dubbed review

Director Jonathan Entwistle has the right mix of touchstones to keep the fans of the genre and the franchise pleased. ‘Karate Kid: Legends’ is a combination of classic underdog with a touch of breezy romance that has a couple of awesome fight scenes to make it a decent family sports corn.

The movie takes familiar routes and happily they are not boring or tedious. Its engaging and though we know the result and predict the outcome right after the first frame, it still manages to hold interest and we all want Li to win. Nicely staged fight scenes and that special Kick/move, the interesting training sessions, the breezy romance between Li and Mia plus the guru chela (tutor student) bonding makes it a decent watch.

This review is of the Hindi dubbed version and the voice overs by Ajay Devgn for Mr. Han and Yug Devgan for Li are pleasant. The dubbing is perfect and the emotions are felt.

If you have loved other Karate Kid movies and have watched Cobra Kai series then Karate Kid: Legends has something for you.

Going with three stars

Produced by Columbia Pictures and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, ‘Karate Kid: Legends’ is scheduled to be released in India on May 30 in theatres.
