Housefull 5 trailer: Cineblues honest review and BO prediction, hit or flop?!! Find out
Sajid Nadiadwala's Housefull 5 Trailer is out, the highly anticipated fifth franchise of the super hit ‘Housefull’ is set to release on June 06, 2025.
Promising to be an out and out full-blown laughter riot, this time the fifth franchise Housefull 5 has a surprising twist of a murder mystery making it a ‘killer’ comedy.
Said to be India’s only franchise to reach its fifth installment, the trailer gives us a glimpse into the world of this biggest comedy franchise.
Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala shares, “I’ve been thinking about the story of ‘Housefull 5’ and having two different climaxes for the last 30 years. I’ve always wanted to make a thriller, and the idea finally came to me 3–4 years ago, right after I finished writing ‘Housefull 4’. I wrote the story and screenplay myself, and it’s truly a dream come true. What makes this film unique is that different shows will have altogether different killers and climax. Imagine a 3 PM show having one ending, and the 6 PM show having another- this is happening across single screens and multiplexes.” He further adds, ‘Housefull 5’ is a true killer comedy. Writing it gave me sleepless nights, but also a lot of joy. Once the script was ready, bringing Akshay and Tarun Mansukhani on board and others made the journey even more fruitful.”
Sajid Nadiadwala has also written the Story and Screenplay for ‘Housefull 5’.
Boasting an ensemble of 19 stars, Housefull 5 is the most glam-packet killer comedy ever. Leading the charge is king of comedy himself, Akshay Kumar, joined by returning favorites and some new faces including Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek A Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir. The film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani.
Cineblues has done it honest review of the trailer and based on the trailer has given its prediction
Housefull 5 trailer plus points
Loyalty
Loyal to the legacy, promising a laugh riot
Interesting Twist
The murder mystery adds an interesting twist
Good performances
All the actors from the subordinates seems to have done good work
Eye popping visuals
It looks rich, glossy, glamorous and unapologetically slapstick mad cap ride
A big budget massy mad caper
It has been a while Bollywood has seen a full-on big budget mad caper
Housefull 5 trailer minus points
Two climax not mention in the trailer
It is reported that that the movie has two climax and both version of the climax will be released but in different shows, for example the climax of 1 pm show will be different from the climax of 10 am show. It’s a unique thing but its not mentioned in the trailer. If it gos well then repeat value is guaranteed but the trailer has no mention of two climaxes.
Cost
Housefull 5 is huge, bigger, the outcome can me better but the cost is a concern. The reported cost of the film is three hundred and seventy-five crores so it has to earn at least a whopping seven hundred and fifty crores to cover its cost. That seems to be a huge task and considering the current atmosphere regarding Bollywood’s performance in theatres, it seems like a huge uphill task.
Known plot
If the murder angle is removed, the plot of Housefull 5 is very similar seen in movies before – a will, false identities, chaos, confusion
Conclusion
‘Housefull 5’ trailer is promising but the movie has to be damn good and extra ordinary in order to come near to come to its whooping cost of three hundred and seventy-five crores. Even if it manages to recover its cost from the BO it will be an achievement
Verdict
‘Housefull 5’ will not be a washout, dude or a disaster but unfortunately will end on the losing end at the BO
At the most will earn two fifty to three hundred crore net and for that the movie has to be really very good.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 hits cinemas worldwide on 6th June 2025.
