Ikkis: Agastya Nanda to play India's youngest Param Vir Chakra hero in Sriram Raghavan’s directed war biopic

Producer Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films have unveiled the release date of ‘Ikkis’, a compelling war biopic directed by the master storyteller and National Award-winning director Sriram Raghavan. Featuring Agastya Nanda, veteran actor Dharmendra, and Jaideep Ahlawat, the film recounts the extraordinary life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal.

Set during the 1971 Indo-Pak war, ‘Ikkis’ is the story of a courageous soldier and devoted son who became the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. A tale of valour, sacrifice, and national pride, ‘Ikkis’ promises to bring one of India’s most heroic true stories to the big screen with heart and intensity. Here a peek into the original telegram that was received by his father, Retired Brigadier Arun Khetarpal.

‘Ikkis’ releases in cinemas worldwide on Oct 2, 2025.
