Son Of Sardaar 2 postponed, the Ajay Devgn starrer will now clash with Karan Johar’s Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi

Ajay Devgn's much awaited comedy film ‘Son of Sardaar 2’ – the spiritual sequel to the 2012 money spinner ‘Son of Sardaar’ which was slated to release in theatres on July 25, 2025 has been postponed.

The makers took to social media to announce that the release date has now been postponed to August 1, 2025.

No official reasons have been given, but trade circuits are buzzing with this speculation that the unprecedented opening to ‘Saiyaara’ has resulted in this decision.

Son of Sardaar 2 will now clash with Dhadak 2 at cinemas on August 1, 2025.

The official post shared by the makers read, "Jassi Paaji and toli will see you in cinemas worldwide on 1st August 2025."

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ has an ensemble cast that includes Ajay Devgn in lead along with Mrunal Thakur, the movie will also see Ravi Kishen, Sanjay Mishra, Vindu Dara Singh, Dolly Ahluwalia, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, Deepak Dobriyal, Vindu Dara Singh, Roshni Walia, Sharat Saxena, and Sahil Mehta.
