Jr. NTR replied to the Indian on-screen Greek god on his social media handle and wrote, “ Jr NTR wrote back to Hrithik, “Thank you sir for your lovely wish! I’m going to soak in the day today…You should start counting down the days too… Hope you sleep well thinking about what awaits because I want you well rested at the yuddhabhoomi see you soon!”

‘War 2’ — the second instalment of the franchise being directed by the celebrated young film-maker Ayan Mukerji!

‘War 2’ brings together two of the biggest icons of Indian cinema - Hrithik Roshan as the daredevil Kabir, and pan India superstar Jr.NTR. The film is slated for a release on August 14, 2025 in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil.

The YRF Spy Universe is the biggest IP of Indian cinema today, having only delivered blockbusters with all its titles like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan and Tiger 3. War 2 is the sixth YRF Spy Universe film to release.
