Rashmika Mandana is on cloud nine after the success of Pushpa: The Rise – Part 01. The one of the most desirable actress has multiple films lined up and her latest Telugu release Adavallu Meeku Joharlu is releasing tomorrow – March 04, 2022.

In a detailed interview, the national crush of India, the Srivalli phenomenon speaks about Pushpa's success, Bollywood career, Adavallu Meeku Joharlu, relationship with Vijay Devarakonda, future projects and much more.

Pushpa has given me crazy popularity

Allu Arjun's Pushpa – one of the biggest blockbusters which has made waves in its Hindi release as well gave Rashmika the right push in her career. Now everybody knows Srivalli and the national crush is the same. Rashmika on the tremendous success of Pushpa pan India says, “she imagined the film to be hit but never thought that it would travel so deep into the audience and bring her such insane popularity. Now, I have a fan following from every nook and corner in the country”.

 

Adavallu Meeku Joharlu will be a big hit

After the phenomenal success of Pushpa, Rashmika will star in one more Telugu biggie titled Adavallu Meeku Joharlu co starring Sharwanand along with Sharwanand, Khushbu, Raadhika Sarathkumar, and Urvashi.

Rashmika says “she could not stop laughing during the narration and is confident that the film will be a success, Adavallu Meeku Joharlu is based on the relationships of several women in a household and how a young couple gets struck in it. The narration is hilarious and emotions are strong” adds the star heroine.

Srivalli and Adhya are completely different characters

Rashmika will be seen in the role of Adhya in Adavallu Meeku Joharlu. The film is a female centric drama and has some big names like Urvashi, Radhika, and Khushboo in key roles. When asked about her role, Rashmika says “Srivalli from Pushpa is different from Adhya and will showcase her in a lighter vein but yet emotionally strong”.

My forte is to do more family dramas

When asked which genre attracts her more, Rashmika says, I love romantic dramas and but votes more for family dramas. In the future too, I will be doing family dramas more as there is so much scope to showcase strong emotions and everyone can watch it as well”

Mumbai/Bollywood media is extremely supportive of me

Post Pushpa Rashmika has become very popular, the national crush tag also boosted her popularity. Rashmika says, “I don't even know where this title came from. But the Mumbai/Bollywood media have been quite supportive of me and always showcase in a good light. Even though I am just two films old, the media have made me quite popular”.

I don't like others dubbing for my voice

Initially, Rashmika's voice was being dubbed in Telugu. But off late, she is dubbing for herself. “I don't like others dubbing for my voice and have dubbed on my own for two of my Hindi films as well. The essence goes missing when someone else dubs for you” says Rashmika.

 

I am over the rumor of getting married to Vijay Devarakonda

Rashmika has done two films with Vijay Devarakonda and has been linked up with him time and again. A few days back, there was news that Rashmika and Vijay would be tying the knot soon. “I am sick and tired of listening to this rumor and it does not affect me anymore. I am just friends with Vijay and have no plans to get married in the next five years”.

 

Working with Amitabh sir has still not yet sunk in

Rashmika is doing two films in Hindi –Mission Majnu with Sidharth Malhotra and Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan.

On working with the icon for the icons the mega star Amitabh Bachchan, Rasahmika says, “I still remember the day I first saw him and was shell shocked. To my surprise, Amit sir knew about me already and gave me a lot of confidence to perform. In a way, working with Amitabh sir has still not yet sunk in” says Rashmika.

Doing a biopic has been on my mind for a long time

Apart from doing more family dramas, Rashmika says that she would love to portray any real life character on screen. “I have got a couple of offers which I rejected. If at all I do a biopic, it should be stunning and bring out the actress in me. I am waiting for that one big film which will change my career”.

 

I have signed a big Bollywood biggie

Hold on… if you believed that Rashmika would settle after a movie with the magnificent Amitabh Bachchan then listen carefully what Rashmika says with that million dollar sweet smile on her face, Rashmika says that she has signed a Hindi biggie with a big star and banner. The details of it will be made official in March second week (which is just a week away).
