Success and chasing goals in life are imperative for everyone. However, it is equally important to give it back to society by contributing towards helping solving societal issues. Shaurya Mehta, one of Mumbai’s influential personalities from a rare mix of music & real estate sectors, proves it with his endeavours. Earlier this year, the prolific singer for his work was awarded as a Rising Star by the Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari for his contribution to the music, infrastructure and the real estate sectors.
Shaurya has time and again stood by those in need. Recently, he graced an event organised by Nidarshana Gowani of Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust for Pillars of Humanity. At the event, Shaurya Mehta performed songs like ‘Kesariya’ & ‘Chand Baaliyan’ and left everyone in awe of his mesmerizing & heartfelt singing. Pillars of Humanity has been doing phenomenal work by associating with various causes of several communities like transgenders, cancer patients, old-age home residents, acid attacks victims and sex workers. Being associated with the event was overwhelming for Shaurya. "I feel privileged that Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust has shown their faith in me and invited me to perform at their event", said Shaurya.
Adding to it, Shaurya further revealed that the best part of the event was to see multiple causes & people getting their due. He said, "The evening majorly threw light on critical yet sometimes ignored issues faced by different communities across the country. It was quite encouraging to see different personalities come together for a social cause. Events like these are necessary, and I am glad that people get recognition & are brought up in society and thereby accepted with equity and a sense of normalcy. At the very least, they are conversation starters."
Shaurya has been passionate about music from an early age. He has delivered several music singles like 'Mukammal Na Hui Chahat', 'Jo Tumko Jhooth Lage', 'Rahil' and ‘Do Kadam’ for leading music companies like T-Series, Zee Music Company and Eros Now Music. He had also penned a touching patriotic poem ‘Main Hindustaan Hoon’ for India’s Independence Day. His recent single Rahil has been thoroughly appreciated and Shaurya is determined to make a mark in the music industry. He is collaborating with some of the best voices in the industry such as Jyotica Tangri & Rupali Jagga and given his voice & persona, is bound to make it to movies, events and beyond. He hopes his “voice can reach billions across and one day make it on a Times Square billboard” he adds.
Lastly, Shaurya concluded by stating that he will continue working towards the betterment of the nation.
