This week in theatres and Ott : villain, politician ka darr,  hopeful jerry and more
This week on Friday i.e 29st July 2022 we have the list of movies and series to be released.
 
1) Rangbaaz : Darr ki Raajneeti : 
The latest season of Rangbaaz, created by Navdeep Singh(NH 10, Manorama 6 feet under) and directed by Sachin Pathak is centered on a Robinhood type gangster turned politician in Bihar, Haroon Shah Ali Baig( Vineet Kumar Singh) and his rise to power. With a formidable ensemble comprising Rajesh Tailang, Prashant Narayan, Vijay Maurya, Aakanksha Singh and Geetanjali Kulkarni,this series is absolutely highly explosive and high on energy. It streams on Zee5 from 29th July 2022.

2) Good Luck Jerry: 
A remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila, Good Luck Jerry is a black comedy crime film starring Jhanvi Kapoor as the central character, Jerry. Helmed by Aanand L Rai Productions and directed by Siddharth Sengupta, it stars Mita Vasisth, Sushant Singh, Deepak Dobriyal and Neeraj Sood in pivotal roles. The film premieres on Disney+ Hotstar on 29th July 2022

3) Masaba Masaba :
 
The follow up to the Netflix original series of 2020 starring Masaba Gupta and Neena Gupta where they played fictionalized versions of themselves hits the streaming space on 29th July.The original was fresh and studded with ingenious humor. The latest season,continuing with the highs and lows of the fashion designer's life, is widely anticipated.

4) Paper Girls :
 
Based on the comic book series of the same name written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustred by Chris Chiang,this one centers on four 12-year-old girls who deliver newspapers cross paths with time travellers and in the process, their life becomes interesting and complicated as they get to know about their future and the possibilities of changing their own present. Paper Girls premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 29 July 2022.

5) The Most Hated Man on the Internet :
 
This true-crime documentary is based on the filthy rich founder of IsAnyoneUp.com, a site where men and women could put explicit photos without the owner’s consent. But one woman goes to extremes and puts up an unflinching fight to pull down her daughter’s nude pics, leading to the founder's undoing. The 3 episode limited series is already streaming on Netflix.

6) Ek Villain Returns :
 
The spiritual successor of the 2014 sleeper hit "Ek Villain" promises to be doubly dark, intense and thrilling. Two love stories are intertwined and the result is a bloody orgy of crime and murders. Ek Villain Returns stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in lead roles and hits the theatres on 29th July 2022.
 
Apart from this, The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, has hit Amazon Prime Video. Vikrant Rona the multilingual starring Sudeep Kiccha is hitting the theatres on 29th July.
