1) THE PALE BLUE EYE (Genre : Detective, Mystery | Format : Film)
Christian Bale stars in this suspenseful drama set in 1930s about a retired detective who recruits an astute West Point cadet named Edgar Allan Poe to help him solve a grisly murder mystery at the U.S. Military Academy.The film streams from 6th Jan 2023 on Netflix.
2) HIT THE 2nd CASE (Genre : Crime,Mystery | Format : Telugu film with subtitles
Adivi Sesh plays a cop assigned the task of nabbing a serial killer in the 2nd installment of the HIT franchise. The film had a theatrical release last month and now hits Amazon Prime Video on 6th Jan 2023.
3) TAAZA KHABAR(Genre : Black Comedy | Disney+Hotstar )
YouTube sensation Bhuvan Bam makes his OTT debut playing a Slumdog who becomes a millionaire when he discovers that his phone can predict the future and he shifts his fortunes overnight. But does it really help him ? Taaza Khabar also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar in this Disney+ Hotstar web series.
4) SHIKHARPUR ( Genre : Thriller, Drama | Language : Bengali Web series with subtitles):
Shikarpur’ is centered around Ankush Hazra’s character, Keshto, who runs a dingy photography studio, and aspires to be a respected detective in his village, much like his guru, Koushik Ganguly. This 9-episode web series charts his journey from a loser to a rookie detective. As seen in the trailer, Shikarpur is a sleepy small town located in the Northern hills. But the inhabitants have recently witnessed a series of murders; and then, there is this overwhelming fear of a ghost lurking in the shadows. As Keshto starts investigating, he realizes that the rabbit hole goes deeper than he had thought. The show further showcases his trials and setbacks and will leave the viewer at the edge of their seat. Will Keshto be able to solve this whodunit?
5.SAUDI VELLAKKA (Genre : Action Comedy | Format : Film | Language : Malayalam with subtitles):
A man is on the verge of procuring his Gulf visa when an old court case and conflict between neighbors rakes up to haunt him in this acclaimed drama helmed by Tharun Moorthy. The film streams on Sony LIV.
Apart from this, Uunchai, Thai Massage and the Menu also release on Zee 5, Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar.
