Actors Gireesh Sahdev and Naman Jain play the role of father and son in 'Sarhad Ke Baad Bhi', the fourth film of Dice Media's army anthology "Bravehearts"
The remarkable performances by actors Shakti Kapoor, Omkar Kulkarni, Sayandeep Sengupta, Anushka Kaushik, Varun Tewari, Anup Soni, and Rohit Pargai, in the first three short films, have left audiences in awe for more. Dice Media released the fourth short film ‘'Sarhad Ke baad bhi’ featuring actors Gireesh Sahdev, Nazneen Madan, Naman Jain in prominent roles. This story focuses on a teenage son that finds himself completely disconnected with his father, who happens to be a retired army officer.

‘Sarhad Ke baad bhi’ stars the very versatile Gireesh Sahdev as Colonel Balram, a retired  Indian Army officer. The story captures his return to his family after years of serving in the army and his wish to spend quality time with his wife and son, Aman (played by Naman Jain). Colonel Balram was unfortunately deprived of his family all these years due to his postings in remote locations for duty.

However, he soon comes to realise the family time he missed out on has created a great distance between him and his son, Aman. On the other hand, Aman, unaware of the multiple hardships his father faced while he was in the army, finds it difficult to accept him as his father after so long.

Actor Gireesh Sahdev, who portrays the role of Colonel Balram says, “I feel very privileged to be part of such a crucial role in Bravehearts. The films touch upon the real hardships that our brave, strong army men face, including the mental health pressures, and the consequences it has on their families. These, unfortunately, remain unnoticed by our citizens. It only leaves me with all the more respect for our great men fighting for the safety of this country.”

Naman Jain who plays the role of Aman says, “I am honoured to be able to play the part of Aman who, like me, gradually understood the importance that mental health plays in our lives. It also made me respect our jawans more- while they retire in the hope of living life victoriously, there remain memories that scar them. I cannot thank Dice Media enough for this series, this role and for paying tribute to the Jawans of the country.”

As the story progresses, Aman soon realises the challenges his father faced while he was in the army which kept them distant from each other. What were these challenges and will the father and son mend their relationship or will the family still be left with angst and unhappiness?
