A regular day at work transforms into a thrilling, high-stakes puzzle in Lionsgate Play's upcoming release Hot Seat, set to stream in India from 11th November 2022. With its taut and twisting jack-in-the-box plot ready to spring into chaos at any moment, director James Cullen Bressack’s Hot Seat is a tense, tech-culture, action-thriller that takes place in a setting too familiar for comfort, as characters and coworkers reveal hidden secrets and navigate tough choices to survive the day.
Sharing his excitement on the release, director James Cullen said, “I'm really excited by this because it's got action elements, but at its core, it's a very intense thriller. And also the most like a movie that I would wanna watch of the movies that I make. A lot of the time, not to say that I don't make movies that I would wanna watch, but if I was, flipping through the channels, the description of this movie would catch my eye the most because I love contained yet big thrillers. I like the concept of a guy being trapped to a chair and all this crazy stuff happening around him, but one of the challenges is making the stuff look interesting and finding new ways to shoot each scene that doesn't just feel like we're in the same place”
