Ott Web series Illegal Season 2 review

Failing to keep with the bar set by season 1 in its engaging, thrilling and riveting quotient, Illegal season 2 is just overall is not more than a routine follow-up that begins to move only after the fourth episodes.

The court room drama crosses the boundaries of Court and action starts taking place outside where the evil of social media is gets highlighted.

There are a couple of unexpected turns but till then the connect is lost. The first season was snaky enough.

Kubbra Sait is missed dearly.

The actors however try to cover the loss where Neha Sharma shines. Piyush Mishra is an actor who hardly goes wrong. Akshay Oberoi is fantastic. Parul Gulati is good. Satyadeep Misra is fine. Tanuj Virwani impresses.

Final words

Illegal Season 2 has nothing excitingly new to offer. The actors are earnest but the writing is not strong enough to compliment the brilliance of season1.
