‘Mayasabha: Rise of the Titans’ – the dramatized realization of the relationship between two stalwarts of Andhra Pradesh Politics – CBN (Chandra Babu Naidu and YSR (Rajashekhar Reddy), the Deva Katta (‘Vennela’, ‘Prasthanam’ fame) and Kiran Jay Kumar helmed series portrays the journey of these two friends turns political rivals with conviction, blending with nostalgia and powered by outstanding performances.
Mayasabha: Rise of the Titans synopsis
Set during the period of 1970s-1990s, ‘Mayasabha: Rise of the Titans’ explores the ruthless world of Andhra Pradesh politics, where power and ambition collide. This gripping political saga follows the journey of former allies Kakarla Krishnama Naidu (KKN) – based on Chandra Babu Naidu aka CBN and MS Rami Reddy (MSR) – based on Rajashekhar Reddy aka YSR, whose shared ideals are torn apart by betrayal, shifting loyalties, and the emergence of a charismatic film star-turned-leader, Jagarlamudi Dharmendar Rao (JDR) – based on N.T Rama Rao.
Directed by Deva Katta and Kiran Jay Kumar, and produced by Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni and Sree Harsha, the series to stream from 7th August only on Sony LIV.
