The Family Man review: Manoj Bajpayee terrific digital debut in a fantabulous espionage thriller

What: Manoj Bajpayee makes a terrific debut in Raj and D.K’s The Family Man – the espionage thriller that India wants.

OTT web series The Family Man Season 1 review

Amazon Prime Video

Sly, humorous, nail-biting, with a constant check on morality with a heartfelt touch of humanity, The Family Man is a captivating espionage thriller that excels with some outstanding performances.

Raj Nidimoru, Krishna D.K., Suman Kumar & Sumit Arora’s screenplay is tight and finely established. The 10-episode series does take some time to set the mood but that is perfectly organised with believable straight from life characters.

A perfect blend of entertainment and patriotism, The Family Man is also a character study of different individuals in similar/different situations and their reactions.

The characters are believable, the situations are inspired from actual events which make The Family Man relevant to the core.
