The Real Kashmir Football Club synopsis

Torn between the devastating floods of 2014, the insurgency, the selfish motive of local politicians in the name of the so-called Kashmiri pride (Kashmiriyat), the cross-border terrorism tension and repeated stone throwing incidents, a journalist from a local newspaper played by Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and a Kashmiri Pandit business man played by Manav Kaul unite to form Kashmir’s first football club. Real Kashmir Football Club gives the youth a purpose, identity, how the youth find hope against all odds and the passion for football turns into a movement of hope and pride forms the crux of this eight episodes series.
