Prabhas aka Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju the pan India phenomenon on screen who’s most eagerly awaited Radhe Shyam co starring Pooja Hegde got postponed due to Covid 19 omicron but Prabhas is elated and thankful today.

An Indian actor and politician, known for his work in Telugu language films and labeled as ‘rebel’ star for his different and rebellious acting style.

Krishnam Raju has worked in around 180 movies and has won five Filmfare Awards South and three state Nandi Awards.

Krishnam Raju made his debut with the 1966 Chilaka Gorinka produced and directed by Kotayya Pratyagatma.

Krishnam Raju acted in many blockbusters like Jeevana Tarangalu (1973), Krishnaveni (1974), , Amaradeepam (1977), Sati Savitri (1978), Katakataala Rudraiah (1978), Mana Voori Pandavulu (1978), Rangoon Rowdy (1979), Shri Vinayaka Vijayamu (1979), Sita Ramulu (1980) etc

How Krishnam Raju inspired Prabhas

It was the 1976 movie Bhakta Kannappa (transl. Devotee Kannappa) directed by Bapu. The remake of 1954 Kannada movie Bedara Kannappa starring Rajkumar based on the life of Shiva (Shaivism) devotee, Kannappa Nayanar.
