Why Akshaye Khanna is out from Drishyam 3

In a shocking revelation, ‘Drishyam 3’ producer Kumar Mangat Pathak has made serious allegations against Akshaye Khanna and blamed him for unprofessional behavior and unreasonable demands.

According to reports, Akshaye Khanna demanded a wig and a huge fee hike days before the film was set to go on the floors. Kumar Mangat says that Akshaye Khanna had almost agreed to the movie after renegotiations over the fee, he suddenly declined to come on board. This strange and unprofessional behavior left the producer Kumar Mangat burning with anger and according to the director of ‘Drishyam 3’ Abhishek Pathak a legal action has been taken against the actor.

In a reportedly surreal statement, Akshaye Khanna has claimed that the success of ‘Dhurandhar’ is due to him. Abhishek Pathak has claimed that Akshaye Khanna believes that ‘Dhurandhar’ has worked because of him.

Kumar Mangat has been quoted by Bollywood Hungama saying, “We had signed an agreement with Akshaye Khanna. His fees also got locked after a lot of renegotiations from his side. He insisted that he would like to wear a wig. But (director) Abhishek Pathak convinced him that it wouldn’t be practical, as it would result in continuity issues since ‘Drishyam 3’ is a sequel. He understood his point and agreed to let go of that demand. However, the chamchas around him advised him that he would look smarter if he donned a wig. So, he again requested the same. Abhishek relented and was even ready to discuss this point with him. But then, he informed us that he doesn’t want to be a part of the film at all.”

Director Abhishek Pathak has reportedly recalled that when Akshaye Khanna heard the script at his Alibaug farmhouse, he was extremely impressed and described it as a Rs 500-crore film. He said negotiations followed, the fee was finalised, an agreement was signed, an advance was paid, and costumes were designed, but the actor backed out.

Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has reportedly replaced Akshaye in ‘Drishyam 3’.

Why Ranveer Singh is out from Don 3

Is ‘Dhurandhar’ really the reason for Ranveer Singh’s exit from Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’?. Not directly but yes in a way.

Ranveer Singh was set to do ‘Don 3’ which was his biggest bet at that time to step into the shoes of Shah Rukh Khan and the original and the unconquerable ‘Don’ of Bollywood silver screen – Amitabh Bachchan. ‘Dhurandhar’ came and everything changed. According to our reliable sources, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ had reshoot and the commitment to ‘Dhurandhar 2’ after the such unbelievable success to ‘Dhurandhar’ has to be the top priority for Ranveer Singh.

Like Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak, the makers of ‘Don 3’ have not issued any official statement till now. The release date is also not confirm yet and most important thing is the shooting of ‘Don 3’ is supposed to commence in 2026.

So, regarding Ranveer Singh in or out of ‘Don 3’, things are not confirmed. Ranveer may begin ‘Don 3’ after ‘Dhurandhar 2 – Revenge’, what is the problem.

The said ouster of Ranveer Singh from ‘Don 3’ is due to scheduling issues due to unexpected re shoot of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ and the unexpected re shoot of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is because of the unbelievable, unparallel tsunami, tornado at the box office ‘Dhurandhar’ has become.

A veteran producer like Kumar Mangat allegations needs to be taken seriously and Akshaye Khanna should introspect himself and understand that success is not a one man show. He is a great actor and should stick to his acting heroics and not consider himself to be star or something.

In our opinion, if Farhan Akhtar really wants ‘Don 3’ to happen and who will be the lead actor then he should issue an official statement to clear all doubts and speculations.
