According to eminent trade analyst –Mr. Komal Nahata, “The advance of Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan is underwhelming, considering the festival week and A - list of super stars like Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar, the opening should have been bumper for both the films. But the current trend shows opening to a normal average range”.

Mr. Komal Nahata is optimistic that since both the movies are said to be family entertainers, the bookings may see a jump after the release”.

When asked the reason behind the response not bumper as seen in past when movies releasing on festive occasions starring super stars taking an earth shattering opening, Mr. Komal Nahata says, “ The trailers might have not created the buzz as expected and nowadays the audience is becoming more careful”.

On the opening day figure Mr. Atul Mohan says, “At present it should both are around in the range of 12 to 15 crores, it is very likely to increase, it’s Monday today”.
