Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and A+S Movies, Major is an Indian biographical action film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.

Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages, the film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, an army officer who was killed in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Adivi Sesh (in his Hindi film debut) portrays Major Sandeep, Adivi Sesh has also written the script. The film also stars Saiee Manjrekar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma.

Major had limited theatrical release on 24 May 2022 in selected cities across India. It is scheduled for a worldwide release on 3 June 2022 in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages.
